Steam away Soda Ash

I recently saw this post from The Soap Queen. I got so excited because it meant that my soaps would ALWAYS look pretty and perfect. As I have a clothes steamer I decided I had to try it.

You can also see the Youtube video here. I would imagine you could also use a steam iron if you have one that shoots out a jet of steam with a specific button.

Thanks Anne Marie. This is so great to know.

Dandelion Soap - a tutorial

I have been really sick so I have missed three blog posts. Sorry guys. It it the soap challenge once again from Great cakes soapworks. This week we made Dandelion soap using a technique from this site. What a great technique. This results in a very delicate set of lines in your soap. Really beautiful.
