These little Petite Fours are made from Cold Process Soap with vegetable oils and a Soap paper rose on the top. Functional and cute.

Favours and other pretty gifts
I have been asked by Hilton College to provide a gift for a function they are having in September.
Here is a look at them - guest soap with piped roses.
I have also been working on my range for Christmas. Yes I know it is early but I am a freak like that and plan everything. I don't like to be caught by surprise and find I have run out of time.

Workshop Fun
On the Fourth of July I held a kiddies workshop with Lara of Just Boutique Fame.

How to scare your neighbours - a soap tutorial. Mantra swirl
I that time again - you guessed it, soap club challenge. This month Any from Great Cakes soapworks decided we would learn the Mantra Swirl technique. I have done this before but not with any great success. You can see my attempts here, here and here.
I guess with anything you do often enough you will become better at it. This doesn't seem to be the case with me and Mantra. I love the look and the idea so I will keep trying but I think my colour choice is a problem. I also think that I need to take a risk and pour the soap mix when it is a little runnier.

Kiddies workshop - 4 July
Riverlea Soap will be running a kiddies soap workshop in conjunction with Lara of Just Boutique
